Shopping Tips for Skis

We are Skis.com so we do in fact have a very large stockpile of skis from kids to adults and from beginner to expert. To make shopping our vast selection easier, we offer several refinements on the left side of the page. These refinements will refresh the page based on your selection and show you only skis that fit what you are looking for. Below we will cover the top refinements used for shopping and what they will do for you.

Shop by brand

Whether you are brand loyal or are simply looking for the hot new ski of the season you sometimes have to shop by brand. This is a popular refinement and can be used for one brand or multiple. For example if you wanted to only shop K2 and Rossignol downhill skis, you would simply first select K2 in the brand refinement and the page will refresh to show only K2 skis. Once the page is refreshed select Rossignol and the page will refresh again with both K2 and Rossignol skis.

Shop by gender

In this refinement you can shop by men's, women's boys or girls downhill skis. Selecting any one of these will have the page refresh and only show skis by that gender. Example; selecting men's will refresh the page only showing men's skis. This is a great way to shop all men's, women's or kids brands and styles.

Shop by intended use

This is one of the most important refinements as it will really narrow down the selection based on the type of skiing you will be doing. Here you can select one or more "Intended Use" from the refinement and only be shown skis that mesh with those disciplines. So if you want to only see all mountain skis you can select it in the refinement box and only be shown skis that fit that category. You can select from several styles including carving, powder, freestyle and more.

Shop by length

This is a great feature to shop skis only available in your size. If you narrow down your search by size you can be guaranteed not to be shown skis that are not offered in your size.

Getting more in depth | Shop by waist width, rocker, turn radius and more

Towards the bottom of the refinements are some more in depth refinements that will be great for the seasoned skier. In these refinements you can narrow down ski selection by waist width, rocker, turn radius and more. So if you are looking for a set of skis but you know you want a waist width between 96-105mm you can choose that here and only be shown skis that are in that range.

As you can see there are several ways to use the refinements offered on Skis.com to easily and shop and find the exact ski you are looking for. There are a lot of downhill skis for sale, making the decision hard at times so the refinements are in place to help narrow down the choices.
