The Rossignol Soul 7 HD takes a great skiing ski and makes it ski even better than previous models. Rossignol's new Carbon Alloy Matrix increases the edge grip on firmer snow, improves the maneuverability, and stability by using a Basalt and Carbon Fiber weave over the Paulownia Wood Core. The Soul 7 utilizes Powder Turn Rocker for a fantastic amount of flotation in soft snow, crud, and deep powder. The 106mm waist feels remarkably edgy and maneuverable when it is time for you to lay down some medium to long radius turns on the groomers. Rossignol's Air Tip Construction uses a honeycomb structure in the tip and tail to pull heavier material away from the extremities of the ski to lower the swingweight, and improves your control anywhere on the mountain. The Free VAS dampening system eliminates the tip wobble that many heavily rockered skis have, to give you one smooth and easy to ski ride that loves the fresh snow, but can give you your money's worth anywhere on the mountain. Find out while this ski has been a favorite for so many skiers for so many reasons.

Q: As I understand the ski will be shipped with the bindings but not mounted/fixed on the ski. I can then adjust and mount the bindings according to my boot size. Am I correct?

A: I would strongly encourage you to take them to a certified technician so they can properly install, adjust and release test the binding. This is a precaution taken by all certified techs to ensure that the binding functions correctly for the safety of the user.

Q: Can I get the skis without the bindings?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: This is a system ski and includes the binding. The mounting track is already installed on the ski. We do currently have the 2018 Soul 7 HD without bindings available.

Q: What are the main differences between the original Soul 7 HD, the 2nd generation model and the new 2018 model? Is there really any performance difference?
Asked : Sep 02, 2017
By : Jeff, Mammoth, CA
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The second generation of the Soul 7 HD added the Carbon Alloy Matrix to add more edge hold and more power for firmer conditions. The 2018 version has the new Air Tip 2.0 that reduces more weight and tip wobble. Each incarnation of the ski has improved how it has skied. Not that it ever skied badly.

Q: Will the Konnect 12 bindings pre-mounted on Rossignol Soul 7 180cm skis accommodate ski boots with a sole length of 293mm (Fischer Cruzar 10, size 25.5)?
Asked : Jun 04, 2017
By : Anthony, Grass Valley, CA
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: We cannot ship bindings, pre-mounted. To mount a ski we require the actual boot that is going into the bindings for proper installation, adjustment and release testing. Please understand that this is for the users safety. The Konnect Binding System can accommodate a 293mm boot without an issue.

Q: i am 6' and still growing. Skied for 3 yrs, mildly aggressive and looking for a ski that can go all over the mountain, especially powder. will this ski fit my needs? tks.

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: If you are a relatively new but athletic skier looking to improve your powder skiing the Soul 7 HD would be a really good option for you. The shape and rocker profile makes skiing powder easier. If you are height/weight proportionate 180cm would be the optimal size for you. If you are heavy for your weight you may want to consider the 188cm.
