The Affinity Sky from Atomic makes a fantastic ski for the intermediate skier that is looking for a lightweight ski for making short to medium radius turns on the frontside of the mountain. The Sky is made with a V-Shape that has a narrower tail than the tip that allows the ski to turn effortlessly by not getting caught up at the exit of your turn. Atomic's All Mountain Rocker has traditional camber underfoot that gives you stability and rebound as you transfer between turns. Rocker in the tip of the ski will initiate turns faster with less effort than ever before. The Sky is made with a Light Wood Core made from Poplar wood that is very light and strong, and a Titanium Stabilizer that has a single layer of Titanium that is placed underneath the core increases stability and torsional strength. Atomic's Step Down Sidewall Construction has a cap construction in the tips and tails that allows the Sky to be very easy to manage, and a vertical sidewall underfoot that improves the edge hold on firm snow. If you are a solid intermediate skier looking for a lightweight ski that will be stable at fast speeds, the Atomic Affinity Sky is the limit!

A new skier this season, the Atomic Affinity Sky skis are my second pair. They seem to be just the right skis to help me progress to the next level. I immediately noticed a difference in how turny and responsive they are. No chattering - an...Read More

Q: I am a beginner skier, 140 pounds weight and 5ft 5/6. What length of ski would you recommend and would the affinity sky be suitable?
Asked : Nov 03, 2017
By : Claire, UK
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The Affinity Sky would be a perfect option for you. Based on your weight and ability I would recommend the 154cm. It is not a very demanding ski that will allow you to improve without needing to upgrade once you improve.

Q: I understand the bindings can't be fully mounted without the purchase of a boot, but does this ski come with the binding mounting plate already mounted to the ski? (as shown in one of the pictures?)
Asked : Aug 08, 2017
By : Ben, Portland, OR
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Yes, the binding plate will be attached to the ski, but the bindings will not. You will need to take them to a certified binding technician to have them mounted.

Q: Are the bindings installed on the ski or do they come seperate?
Asked : Jan 07, 2017
By : Jan, United States
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: We can only install bindings if boots are purchased with the skis and bindings. The actual boot going into the binding must be present for proper installation, adjustment and release testing. Please understand that this is for the safety of the user.
