Q: Do these bindings require a AFD or teflon pad between the toe and heel binding? Also, what size screws do they require? I ask because my skis are already drilled. Thanks!

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: All alpine ski bindings have an AFD already on them. AFD stands for Anti-Friction Device that allows for a cleaner release from the toe piece for your safety. The screws that are included with the binding are the correct size. It is unlikely that the hole pattern for this binding matches the hole pattern that is drilled on your skis. I would strongly encourage you to take them to a certified binding technician to properly and safely install the bindings for you.
