The Shreditor 85 Jr. from K2 is designed to be a stronger and better ski for the advanced junior skier that can over ski the typical junior package ski. The 85mm waist will give flotation and stability for the little ripper. The real Wood Core is made from Aspen and Paulownia that will increase the amount of power and rebound that your little skier has behind them. K2's All Terrain Rocker has rocker in the tip to keep them on top of fresh snow, and initiate turns easier on the groomers. Camber underfoot will give them strong edge hold, and rocker in the tail will release them from a turn easier. The Shreditor 85 Jr. will be a great ski for your little skier that leaves dad in the dust, all in one sweet retro package that he will never know how cool the graphic really is.

A: The Marker 7.0 Free, Salomon L7 and Look NX 7 would all make great binding options for the Shreditior 85. The 85-93mm size will be perfect for this ski.

Q: thinking 129 cm k2 Shreditor for 8 yr old, 49 in, 55 lbs now... on Squaw Valley jr team... skis all mountain aggressively, likes to play in park and jump... skied on 115 cm last season (perfect at start of last season but seemed bit short at end of season), and on 105 cm previous season. Your thoughts/other options?

A: With a little bit of rocker in the Shreditor 85 and him being an aggressive skier everywhere (park, pow, groomers) on the mountain the 129cm would be my size recommendation for him. The extra length will give him more stability in the deep snow and groomers, but may be a little harder for him to spin in the park.

A: For a skier of his size and aggressiveness the 149cm would be the optimal length. The longer length for his weight would give him more stable landings from jumps.
