All Mountain skis are for on-trail; some off-trail ability
Medium - ideal for all-mountain, off-trail versatility
Very Stiff - for the biggest, strongest, aggressive skier
Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis for versatile all-mountain
The Volkl Kendo remains a favorite ski for back east skiers who want a race like performance on the frontside with the ability to rip in the fresh snow. A Full Titanal reinforcement on top of Volk's Multi-Layer Woodcore takes a race construction to an all-mountain shape for a damp and powerful ride that loves high speeds, medium to long radius carves and plowing through bumps and crud. Moderate Taper in the tip and tail enhances your maneuverability as well as prevent that hooky or grabby feeling in difficult snow conditions. Full length vertical sidewalls only add to the edge grip and add more torsional strength to the Kendo. If you want a powerful ski that has a strong reputation for taking on the groomers and some fresh snow, with everything in between, the Volkl Kendo is a ski for you.
I have not skied them yet because of the Covid 19 closures but very happy with price and free shipping was right on time. It’s about time that I upgraded can’t wait to ski them next season!

Hi I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Volkl Kendo. Unchanged from last year aside from the graphic. Great ski for that strong, high level advanced skier to expert level skier who wants a ski that is going to really charge on piste but give you a little bit of off piste versatility. With this waist width and rocker profile, it skis very well through the bumps, holds a good edge on ice, and its overall just a fairly strong ski to ski. You've got to put a lot of energy into, you get a lot of energy back.Hide
A: No, the Kendos do not come with a binding. The binding is sold separately.

Q: Hello! I've been eyeing these skies and had a question on the sizing options. I grew up on skies and would classify myself as advanced. I'm 5 foot 11 at about 210-220lbs and wondering what size whether I should try the 184s or stick with the 177s. I ski a variety of locations, from Austria to Michigan and looking for a ski I can use for both large mountain, rougher snow and groomed snow in Michigan. Any recommendations on sizing?
