The drying arms are adjustable to accommodate all sizes of ski boots, footwear or gloves, while being easy to pack in a suitcase. It does what it was meant to do: dry ski boots or gloves in a few hours. It blows warm air via two adjustable tubes and doesn't make much noise. Folds to a manageable size. I take it with me on all trips, because it is easier than pulling out the boot liner. There will always be some moisture on the outside of the liner, and in my experience they never fully dry overnight (unless they are placed next to heat). Sure, you can ski in semi damp boots day after day. I wouldn't say that this item is essential, but they will make your experience more enjoyable.Hide
