The Stockli Stormrider 95 is a powerful and agile ski for aggressive skiers looking for smooth skiing both on the frontside of the mountain and in the back bowls. The 95mm waist feels agile and carvy when you feel like slicing GS style carves down a steep groomer with the flotation to dive into the powder when a storm has been socked in for a few days. SST Sidewalls drive a tough edge into firm snow conditions and deliver a powerful energy transfer and responsiveness. Stockli's VRT (Vario Race Technology) thins out the top layer of Titanal in the tip for smooth entrances into a turn and vibration dampening. TiTec Construction gives the Stormrider 95 unmatched stability and the power to blow through any adverse conditions. Stockli's TFC (Tail Flex Control) utilizes a small rubber insert in the tail that adds a slight drifty feel at the exit of a turn. If you want a powerful ski that will tackle any condition on any mountain with speed and stability, the Stormrider 95 is the ski for you.

I'd looking at Stockli for a few months before my annual ski trip to Stowe, VT and set up to demo the SR95s on the first day....I bought them around 1:30PM that day. These skis do everything you expect out of a high quality ski. They cut th...Read More

Q: I am currently skiing on Atomic CTi90 for past two seasons and like them very much. However, they are light and I am looking for a similar ski which is a little heavier. I ski mostly on piste and sometimes off piste. I like to ski the moguls a lot as well. I have demoed the Brahma, Bonafide, Enforcer 93 and 100 (like the 93 better), Core 93, X88 Legend, Kastle MX89 and FX95 HP, ON3P, DPS, RMS. Can't find some one who demos the Stormrider series. I live in Denver and ski 25-30 days per season. I am an experienced and advanced recreational skier and have so far passed up several invitations to be a ski instructor. Can you tell me what I am like to experience between my Atomic and the Stormrider 95? I am 5 feet 11 inches and weigh 185 lbs.

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The biggest difference that you are going to notice is going to be the weight, the Stockli feels a little heavy on your feet. The Stormrider will have a higher top end speed, with a much damper, more powerful feeling.

Q: what is the difference between the Stormrider 95 and the stormrider 105

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: It really comes down to waist width between the Stormrider 95 and 105. If you are going to be spending more time on piste, I would recommend the 95. If you are going to spend more time off piste I would recommend the 105. Both skis share a construction and technology, just a different waist width for different terrain.

Q: Fitment for Stockli Stormrider 95. I'm 5'11" 190lbs. I have not purchased a pair of skis for a few years, as you can see from skis I have had (Atomic 217 GS, K2 VO Slalom 195, Volkl Snow Ranger 195). I'd like to match them up to a turntable binding and my Lange RX130 boots. What size Stormrider do you recommend? What binding(s) do you recommend? Thx

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Based on your weight I would recommend the 184cm for you. The Look Pivot 14 is a great turntable binding for your size and that ski.
