Hi, I'm Adam. I just got done skiing the Salomon XDR 84. Great ski for the strong intermediate up to the expert level skier, who really wants something that's gonna have a really unique personality for any given day on the mountain. It really has a freeride shape, but a carving waist that really gives a unique feel to it. It's very smooth into the turn, it's very smooth out of the turn. It has Salomon CFX super fiber which is a blend of Carbon and Flax, so it has a lot of energy, without being super damp and powerful. But you can really step on the gas pedal with it and get a very smooth ride. If you're spending the majority of time on the trail, but you can get this ski off-trail and it does pretty well on the bumps, the crud, a little bit of 5 to 6 inches of powder and it does pretty well there as well. Hi, my name's Dan. I just got done riding the Salomon XDR 84. It's a strong ski for groomers and all over on the mountain. It really propels itself from turn to turn with the strong TI Core and then, really has a forgiving tail that allows you to disengage and make very easy, easy turns for a good, strong intermediate skier. The only thing I didn't like was that it's a little narrow for kinda deeper days, but as a strong all-mountain ski for beginner to intermediate, I would definitely recommend this ski for anyone cruising all over the mountain. Hi, I'm Brendan. I just got off the Salomon XDR 84 TI. I really enjoyed this ski. It's gonna be a good ski for someone that's looking to grow their skill set. An intermediate could easily hop on this ski and then transition and become that better more expert skier. This ski though is very forgiving, very easy to ski. You don't have to be on the very front of it to make a good hard carve. It has good energy and good pop from turn to turn, really kinda pushes you into that next turn. I think it can go just about anywhere on the mountain. Definitely a little narrow at an 84 for some of that deeper snow but could do bumps and trees pretty easily. So a very versatile ski for a skier that's gonna want to grow their skills.Hide
Q: I bought these skis from this site, but they did not come with the ski tip protectors as shown in the pictures. I was wondering if you have them in stock, and if you do if you can send them to me free of charge seeing as how they should have been included.
