Brand new for this season, the Salomon S/Pro X80W CS is an ideal boot for an intermediate to advanced woman skier that is looking for a lightweight and customizable option. Its lightweight feel and step-in construction pairs well with the seamless liners for a more comfortable fit that will keep you on the slopes all day. The Custom Shell HD allows for a customized personal fit to improve power and transmission. Women specific calf adjusters and sense straps give rebound without sacrificing comfort. The Sense Amplifier cuffs make for a quicker edge transfer coming out of your turns, while the 4 Aluminum Buckles ensure easy adjustment while on the mountain.

Got these for my wife on an amazing cyber Monday deal of $180. Even at regular $300 these are a great boot if you know how to measure foot length and width and size down (follow the sizing chart). Before heat molding they were uncomfortably tight for her slightly wider foot. After heat molding they fit perfect, like a firm glove, no pressure points and not loose. Day 1 on the snow so far and she said they were amazing especially compared to her old boots.
A word about heat molding-- you can probably do it yourself if you are a decent DIYer and find a good youtube video to follow. Also the Salmon technicians manual will be helpful. Sometimes the ski shops are little light on this skill.Hide
