The Salomon Rocker2 100 has the perfect mix of a freeride and freestyle ski for tearing up any mountain in any condition. Full Sandwich Sidewalls grip and rip the snow when it is soft or firm. A Hook Free Taper in the tips and help you smear and float deep turns without the tips and tails getting caught up in the pow. The Full Wood Core of the Rocker2 100 utilizes vertically laminated strips of wood that provide the perfect mix of stability and playfulness for spinning fatty three's or charging through the trees. Salomon's Twin Rocker Profile also helps aid in the flotation, easy carving, and playfulness as you bomb from the top of the headwall, dive into the trees, slay a couple of features in the park, and fly down a groomer, all in one lap. Then it is time to get back on the chair to do it again!

These are easily the most playful skis I've owned. They handle crud with ease and produce very little chatter. My only complaint is that they are a little on the heavy side, but their weight does help keep them charging.

I'm 5'10", 160 pounds. I had a pair of 184cm Rocker2 108's, and they were just too big for me to handle in deep powder and woods. I couldn't turn them fast enough. Got a pair of these in 162cm and they were absolutely great on my last trip....Read More

Q: Hi! I'm an advanced skier, my weight is 160 lbs and height 179 cm (5'9" aprox). I have a salomon 2012 pair of skis and was thinking on updating to the Rocker2 100, since I do lots of powder and tree skiing. I think this would be a perfect pair of skis for me, but myy only doubt is if I should get the 178 or the 186 size... My salomon 2012 are 179 and I sometimes felt that their twin rocker shape made them a bit small for my skiing... Any recommendation? Thanks!
