Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis for versatile all-mountain
The Q-96 Lumen is a perfect ski for the ladies that are looking for a ski that will charge and float off piste, and still be able to lay down some turns on the groomers. At 96mm underfoot you get a ski that is happy anywhere you can take it. This Full Wood Core ski has the ability to power through deep snow, bumps and crud, without being too heavy it will cause you to fatigue quickly. The Honeycomb Tip reduces the overall weight of the ski, helps it float better in pow, and makes it more maneuverable. Salomon's Utility Rocker has rocker in the tip to keep you on top of all of the deep snow you are going to be skiing, slight camber underfoot to still drive a tough edge on the firm snow, and rocker in the tail to give you smearability. If you want a ski that excels in the soft snow, but will be a great ski to take everywhere the Salomon Q-96 Lumen is a ski for you to own.

Hey, Jess here. I just got off the Salomon Q 95 Lumen. This is definitely an advanced level ski. It's got a nice, wide underfoot to make it a great all-mountain ski. What really impressed me on this was that it comes around really nicely in the turn. It takes some power to get into them but it holds very steady. It's a little bit heavier. It's going to be great for an advanced level skier looking for an all-mountain ski they can kind of take into the backcountry, play around on but still holds great on the frontside. I would give this ski a 4 out of 5 stars.Hide

Hi, this is Lisa. I just skied the Salomon Lumen. I would give this ski a 3 out of 5 rating. I'd recommend this ski for an intermediate level skier who wants to ski fairly conservatively and slowly on the blues to the black runs.

Hi, I'm Linda. I just skied the Salomon Lumen. This is an all-mountain powder ski. We have some pretty hard conditions here but I did find just a little bit of powder. I give it a 3 out of 5 stars. It's more for the intermediate skier for powder. It turns okay, little chattery at speed but not too much rebound either. So, if you're looking for a softer ski that's not going to throw you around, this might work for the intermediate.Hide
