The Salomon Astra is a smooth and easy ride for the intermediate to advanced skier who wants a light and lively ski for the groomers. New to the Astra this season is the Cork Comfortech Toe and Heel that is placed underneath the binding. Cork dampening pads will absorb vibrations and create an ultra-smooth ride for you. Carve Rocker will initiate turns for you lightning quick. Salomon's Control Frame has a 3D Construction that uses grip zones on the contact points that enhance your edge hold on firm terrain and responsiveness all over the mountain. The Astra has a Woodcore and Basalt Layer to keep the ski feeling powerful when you ramp up the speed while reducing the total weight. If you want a lightweight and smooth ride for the frontside of the mountain, look up to the stars and find the Salomon Astra.
