The Experience 80 HD from Rossignol makes an incredible value for the athletic intermediate to advanced skier looking for a lightweight and easy to carve ski. The Carbon Alloy Matrix is made from basalt and carbon to deliver an extra edge hold and boost of stability on firm conditions or faster speeds. Rossi's Air Tip Construction pulls heavier material away from the tip of the ski for a lower swingweight and easier maneuvering into any turn shape with ease. An Extended Sidecut provides you with more sidecut when you are putting more edge angle on your skis at faster speeds and less sidecut when you are skiing at slower speeds to make this a perfect ski for dads skiing with little kids who get to cut lose from time to time. Auto Turn Rocker has a small amount of rocker in the tip and tail for effortless turning while the camber underfoot grips the snow and provides rebound. If you want a ski that is very easy to ride and packed with performance when you need it, the Experience 80 HD is a perfect option.

Q: Hi...just trying to get a size suggestion. I'm a 46 year old expert skier who is just getting back into skiing after a 10+ year break. I'm a 5"8", 160lb cyclist/ex-racer who strength-trains. Currently I'm riding a set of Blizzard RC Ti's in 172 cm that I've come to love, but I'm looking for something a bit more relaxed to ride with the family. Would you recommend the Experience 80 in 168 cm or 176 cm. Thanks

A: Based on your experience, current ski, level of strength and athleticism I do not think the Experience 80 would be enough ski for you, even if you are looking for a relaxed option. I would steer you towards the Rossignol Experience 88 HD at 172cm.

Q: If I bought ski and boots separately from skis.com, and give my height/weight and boots info. Would it be eligible for a free binding mounting service from skis.com?
Asked : Feb 20, 2018
By : Ning, JERSEY CITY
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The boots and skis must be on the same order for us to install bindings. We can only install bindings if boots are purchased with the skis. The actual boot that is going into the binding is required for proper installation, adjustment and release testing. Please understand that this is for the safety of the user.

Q: I am intermediate skier, 142 lb. at 5'4", I ski cautious/slow in black diamond, ski average in blues, ski only groomed. Which length do you recommend? Which ski have better edge grip in icy condition 80HD or Atomic Vantage X 75 at 156?

By : Tom, Philadelphia, PA
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Based on your weight and ability I would recommend the 152cm. In my opinion the E80 HD will have a better edge hold on firmer conditions. It is a slightly stiffer ski.

Q: I am an int./int.adv. skier weighing 173 lb at 5'10" which length would be optimal for me? I'm inclined to like the shorter ski because they seem easier to turn.

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Based on your weight and ability, I would recommend the 176cm for you. The amount of rocker in the Experience line makes the ride a little shorter than they measure.
