If you want something for under your board shorts these work. My one complaint is that they keep the board shorts from drying as quickly as they normally would but if that isn't a concern you will enjoy them.
Q: Does this board short provide warmth? If so, what is the insulating material and how thick is the insulating material? Would this board short perform well under a 2 mm neoprene wetsuit in 59 degree (F) cold water river (white) rafting expedition that last 3 days? If it is insulating, would it perform well on it's own without the need for a wetsuit overtop in 70 degree (F) waters?

A: The breakdown of the material is 92% nylon, 8% elastane. 6oz nylon/spandex 4-way stretch. These will offer a bit of insulation but I'm not sure to the exact specifics.
