Overview

The new Marker Squire 11 ID is a great binding for intermediate skiers looking for performance in a lightweight package. The new ID makes the Squire compatible with standard DIN, Alpine Touring and Grip Walk boot soles. Marker's Triple Pivot Light Toe has a horizontal spring that offers energy transmission and control. The Hollow Linkage Heel Piece reduces the overall weight of the binding, feels easy to step into, and will provide you with a consistent release should you need it. Marker's trademark Stainless Steel Gliding AFD delivers increased protection against worn or dirty boot soles.

I'm probably ignorant when buying bindings, I don't really care what brand I buy, just wanted a pair that would be sturdy and also release if I fall. I picked the white ones, with the 90mm brake. They seem to work just fine.

When I first bought these bindings I was new to park skiing and a friend suggested I buy quality bindings. I've owned these bindings for a while and they are exactly what I expected.

Q: im interested in this binding as a woman looking for lightest weight to use with the head kore 93. is this lightest and can the brake be interchanged with a 95mm? are there lighter alpine bindings...no backcounty

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Marker only produces breaks in the 90 and 110mm sizes. You can do the 90mm and have your ski tech bend or shave the arms so they can expand when the boot is not engaged into the binding. These are a very light binding and the only other one that has this performance that I would recommend is the Salomon Warden 11.
