The K2 Mindbender 85 Skis were designed to elevate the what skiers expect from a performance ski. The focus of the design was centered around what is important to skiers and creating a ski that could feel as tailored to hardpack as they did in pow. Goal accomplished. The key to achieving that goal - Torsion Control Design Philosophy. This means you get the highest level of precision and stability in a damp, stable platform. So what does that mean for your everyday on-hill skiing? These freaks are built to blast but won't let you down when you get in over your head and have to shut 'er down.

Hi, I'm Adam. I just got done skiing the K2 Mindbender 85. Great ski for that beginner to mellow intermediate skier who's looking for something to just get off the groomed trails a little bit but still offer you a good carve and something that's nice and stable when the snow get's a little bit bumpy or cruddy. At eighty five millimeters underfoot you get and ample platform, it's still extremely edgy and quick. We do get a vertical sidewall, so that sidewall gives you a lot of grip on the snow. You really get a nice easy to maneuver ride, that's just easy to control. It's very forgiving but yet you can step on it a little while. This is a great value ski right here. Hide

Evan here. Just got off the K2 Mindbender 85. This is a new ski from them this year to replace the pinnacle series. This is there 85, so the entry one to the series. For your beginner to advanced intermediate skier. This thing was surprising. Held an edge extremely well. It was fun, poppy and lively. Easy to get on edge and in and out of turns. Overall very impressed. Definitely more of your front side ski. And again, more beginner to advanced intermediate.Hide

Hi, I'm Thom. I just got done riding the K2 Mindbender 85, brand new ski from K2 for this year. It's definitely aimed your beginner to intermediate skier who's maybe rented a handful times and is looking to get there first set of sticks but doesn't want something that's going to limit them to the front side. At eighty five underfoot and with this little bit more progressive shovel shape to it, this ski has a lot of room to grow and start exploring more of the mountain. It is definitely aimed at skiing on firm snow and pack snow. But it is playful enough for that entry level skier. Somebody who's not charging super hard. They're still going to be able to take it off trail and little bit of powder, skiing the bumps on the shoulder of the run and they're going to find that it's really playful and easy going. And that really is the name of the game with this ski, that it''s just super super easy. So it goes up into a turn, holds solid through and finishes the turn cleanly. It's never going to fight you, you're not going to be tired out at the end of the day. But you're going to be really happy with something that's super predictable. Hide
