Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis for versatile all-mountain
The K2 Mindbender 85 Alliance is a great option for any beginner to advanced intermediate looking to get their first all mountain ripper. The lightweight Aspen Veneer Core gives the Mindbender lots of flex and a lightweight feel. An All-Terrain Rocker Profile provides a gradual rise in the tip for added versatility in different conditions and a short rise in the tail for added control. SlantWall Technology adds thirty degrees to the sidewall for added response and feel without sacrificing power and precision. Get a ski that will help you get to the next level with the Mindbender 85 Alliance from K2.
Q: I am comparing three lines of skis (K2 Mindbender 85, Salomon QST 85, and Line Sick Day 88). I'm a 33 year-old female at 5'6? 112 lbs; I learned to ski in my mid-twenties but only ski a handful of times each season (but hopefully more down the road!). I ski greens and blues but am working on my confidence and ability as a skier. I mostly plan to progress only on technique and to more challenging blues; I'm not a big thrill seeker and enjoy taking it easy; I don't like to go too fast or on too narrow of runs. What would you recommend for me? Thanks in advance!
A: I recommend the Mindbender 85 Alliance for you. It's going to be forgiving enough to where we'll be able to control it as you progress. But once you start feeling more confident, it can handle more difficult runs.
