The K2 Midtown urban inline skates are simply a fun pair of inline skates, and they feature some really cool designs too. Choose blue or gray before you take off and skate through the crowds of the busy city streets on these easy to control and fun to be in skates.

The boot of the K2 Midtown urban skates look more like a fashionable pair of sneakers than they do an awesome pair of inline skates. It's this style that's going to fit in within any urban setting, but what really fits in is the design of the Midtown. With 80mm wheels and an Abec 5 bearing you get a great mixture of control and speed, but not too much speed making these safe and effective skates for getting around on a busy sidewalk. The 80mm wheel size is big enough to easily go over imperfections in the sidewalk but won't spin so fast to get out of control. To ensure you have all the support needed K2 used their aggressive skate cuff on the Midtown so a lengthy skate doesn't turn into sore feet for the rest of the day. Giving you a nice sense of closure are traditional laces matched with a double Velcro closure so you can choose your level of snugness.

The K2 Midtown is not the skate for someone looking to break any land speed records but are great for the urban city skater looking to get from point a to b in a fun and safe manner, even if there are obstacles to avoid along the way. The K2 Midtown is here to bring the fun back to inline skating!

  • K2 inline skates are going to fit the same as your everyday athletic shoe size.

I just love these skates. My shoe size is a ten, but I went up to a 10.5 and they fit fantastic. I can go all day in them on street and at the rink. Simply Awesome!

Q: I have a narrow women's foot, size 10 in women. I am not looking for speed but want to be able to skate on streets that may have bumpy surfaces, dirt, small gravel pieces, leaves, etc. What kind of skate do you recommend for me. I need to exercise myself and my dog. I am also looking for comfort! Thanks!

A: I'd first suggest a women's specific skate since they will be narrower accommodating your narrower foot. skates with an 80-90mm wheel size will provide great control while still offering enough size on the wheel to glide over debris easily. A skate in the fitness or recreational category would be a good fit for what you are doing; skates like the Rollerblade Zetrablade and Metroblade series, or the K2 Kinetic and Alexis series of skates are great places to star looking. Skates are going to fit the same as standard shoe size so if you are a women's size 10 I'd recommend going with that size in a skate.

Q: Hi there, I'm looking for skates that will be good on roads where there is some unevenness or debris. I haven't skated in a long time, but would like to get back to it to get my dogs some exercise. I don't need great speed, but do want to reduce the likelihood of wiping out when hitting a stone or something. ( put on my old blades and wiped out quickly for this reason). Finally, I wear women's size 7.5....what would I order here? Thank you!

A: I'd recommend a women's specific recreational style inline skate. A women's specific skate is going to cater to a woman's foot shape and the fit will be better. Skates like the K2 Alexis 80 and Alexis 84 models would be a great choice, or the Rollerblade Macroblade or Macroblade 84 would be great choices. The 80/84mm wheel should be plenty enough wheel for skating outdoors.

Q: I wear a ladies size 7 in street shoes, and you say these are men's sizes, so a men's 7 would be a lady's 8. That means that these would not come in a size small enough for me? I notice that none of the K2 Urbans are available in anything smaller than the men's 7/lady's 8. I really like these, what do you suggest?

A: Unfortunately it sounds like the correct size for you in a men's skate would be a size 6 which is not available at this time in the K2 Urban skates. You have a couple options, contact customer service at 888-271-7500 and they can contact K2 to see if it's possible to special order any of their skates in a smaller size, or go with a different skate. Currently we have in stock many men's size 6 urban skates from Rollerblade including the Twister 89, Twister 231, RB 80, Fusion X3, or you could go with the women's size 7 in a women's specific urban skate which we have the Rollerblade Twister 80 and Maxxum 84 in stock right meow. These skates are not the soft boot style like the K2 but outside that they have many of the same features.

Q: The boot on the skate looks like it would feel comfortable for someone with a wide foot. I usually have to watch what skates I buy because of my wide feet. Does anyone have wide feet feel comfortable in these skates?
Asked : Feb 13, 2017
By : Dan, Connellsville, PA
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Although no inline skate company currently makes a wide skate, this K2 is going to offer a more forgiving fit than most. Since this is built on a glorified aggressive skate boot from K2 you really get more of a comfortable skate style shoe fit than a fitness inline skate. You will need to skate in them a few times to really break them in and they should fit around your foot well after about a half dozen times skating.

Q: Is there much difference between size 8.5 and 9.0 ? I usually wear size 42 eur shoes.
Asked : Feb 09, 2017
By : Dave, NY
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: These skates fit very close to standard shoe size, with a 42 you fall into a size 8.5 which should be accurate for you. If you've ever worn shoes sized in US sizing, I would go with whatever size you take in those since these skates are sized in US sizing.

Q: Can women use these skates as well, because I see that it's fit for men?
Asked : Sep 29, 2016
By : M, Sacramento, CA
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Heck yes, these skates don't care about gender. They are sized in men's shoe size so you will want to drop a full size from your everyday women's shoe size. Depending on the shape of your foot you may need to add an aftermarket footbed or support but that has nothing with being a woman, many men, including myself, have to alter their skates for a precise and correct fit.

Q: Because it has the UFS on it, is it possible to put an aggressive frame on this skate? I don't skate hard aggressive, but I really enjoy the control that a low frame and wheels provide.

A: Yes, you can swap out the frame with any UFS aggressive frame.
