I bought these for my teen daughter, and she's used them several times for skating around the sidewalks and trails near our home. She loves the quick-lace system, which allows for a good, snug fit around the foot and ankles. Other adjusters also work well, and it appears the wheels will be easy to rotate and the brake easy to replace when the time comes. She's enjoying them a lot!Hide

The skates are easy to use and extremely comfortable. No need to break them in, they are perfect!
A: The brake is removable but will require an additional short axle to do so. The axle is not included but one can be ordered from K2, just contact customer service.
