These skates are easy to get on and off. They are very adjustable and comfortable. Most importantly they ride very smoothly.

Q: How wide of a foot can be placed in these?
Asked : Jan 16, 2018
By : Igor, PHILADELPHIA
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: That's quite a loaded question and there really isn't a factual answer. At this time no inline skate manufacturer makes designated wide widths so proper fit for a wide foot can sometimes take some additional work. I have fitted a mid wide foot into a skate by simply swapping the footbed, and have fit fairly wide feet into a skate by going up a 1/2 size and outfitting the boot with a new footbed and a heel lift. The heel lift works wonders for those with a wider foot as it brings the foot up in the boot a bit alleviating some of the side to side pressure. With all of this the skates will still need to break in around your foot and this could take a few times skating in them.

Q: Is it possible to get a smaller size wheel on these skates? It's been few years since I skated, and I would prefer something smaller (slower) as I get back into it.
Asked : Sep 27, 2017
By : Melissa, United States
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Yes, you could go with a smaller wheel if that would make you more comfortable starting out. 76mm is probably about as small as you would want to go before the turning would become an issue, ideally I'd go with an 80mm then go back to 84mm once you are more confident.

Q: Can I upgrade the 84mm wheels to 90mm? On the 2016 model's wheel frame, it says 84mm are the max size but I saw some feedback on the web that the 2016 model can be fitted with 90mm wheels. is this true?
Asked : Sep 01, 2017
By : john, United States
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: I don't personally know for a fact if they will fit. 2017 was the first time K2 published that the K2 FIT Pro 84 would allow 90mm max wheel size, before that the max wheel size was advertised as 84mm. Hopefully someone can verify that owns the skates.

Q: Hi- I havent skated in 20 years. My purchase will be basically for recreational(perhaps some fitness/rec neighborhood hockey/family stuff). I wouldnt say I have a E size width, however my foot is slightly on the wide side. Would this be a good choice for me?
Asked : May 31, 2017
By : NK, Fishers IN
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: At this time no inline skate manufacturer makes a wide width skate and all tend to be a fairly mid-wide design. The K2 softboot is definitely a great choice, the soft boot allows for those with a wider foot to still achieve a quality fit. Skates do tend to take some time to break in and you will really want to wear the skates about 6 times before you really get a real feel for the skates. Some with wider feet take skates a half size larger to give room for a heel lift which will lift the foot up in the boot to alleviate some of the side to side pressure, it doesn't sound like this is necessary in your case.

Q: So I'm looking to buy my first pair of skates, would these be a good idea to start with?
Asked : Mar 28, 2017
By : Cc, Fort Worth, TX
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Yes, these are going to fit great without being too stiff and demanding making them great for beginner skaters, but these skates do have enough features to make them great for intermediate to light advanced skaters as well. The wheels on these skates are 84mm which are small compared to what else is available nowadays but is still a large wheel compared to what was offered 5 years ago, so just take it easy at first and start off in a flat parking lot or path to get your bearings.
