The Ten5 from Faction makes an excellent ski for aggressive chargers who will be pounding out the laps from first chair to last. A 105mm waist and two layers of Titanal give you the power and stability to point and shoot down something steep and gnarly, regardless of the snow conditions. A fair amount of rocker in the tip and tail with camber underfoot keeps you floating, smearing, and banging out the turns at top speed. Faction uses a Dual Radius Sidecut that has a slightly larger turning radius towards the tail of the ski and a tighter radius near the tip of the ski for quick turn initiation and stability when you are engaged in the turn. If you want a smooth ride with power, stability and versatility, the Faction Ten5 is the ski for you.

Q: Is the tail for the skis like the one the image shows, or is it actually more simillar to the one of the nine5 skis.
Asked : Jul 09, 2018
By : Santos, Miami
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The tail of the ski is as pictured and does not have the skin notch found on the Nine5. With the additional width and extra layer of metal found in the Ten5 it is not as practical of an option for skinning so that feature was left off of this ski.

Q: The tail for this ski says flared, but the videos of this ski show a flat (traditional) tail. Can you look at the ski and 100% tell me they are flared?
Asked : Feb 28, 2018
By : Evan, Reno
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The tail of this ski is slightly turned up with a small amount of taper. We consider this a flared tail.

Q: Will skis.com install the bindings for me if I purchase both the skis and a pair of bindings?
Asked : Feb 09, 2018
By : Paul, Discovery Bay
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: We can only install bindings if boots are purchased with the skis. The actual boot that is going into the binding is required for proper installation, adjustment and release testing. Please understand that this is for the safety of the user.
