Tip Rocker/Camber skis for edge hold; easy turn initiation
The Elan Ripstick 88 is a fantastic ski for the strong intermediate to advanced skier who spends most of their time on trail, but will head off when the conditions are right. Amphibio Rocker has a rockered inside edge on the tips that helps you engage into a turn, lighting quick. Carbon has been added to the inside edge of the chassis to drive even more energy to the snow, and carbon tubes run the length of the sidecut to add even more responsiveness and power. The 88mm waist feels great when you need to make some tight turns on the groomers, while giving some float and stability when you want to hit the trees, bumps or fresh snow.
Carbon Line Technology-Carbon reinforcements over the inside edges of the skis that drive more power into your turns.
SST Sidewalls-Slightly slanted to reduce the weight of the ski, while delivering superior edge grip on firm snow.
TubeLite Woodcore-Two 5mm thick carbon tubes that follows the arc of the sidecut that adds energy and power while reducing the total weight of the ski.
Carbon Rods-Added to the core of the ski to increase power and reduce weight.
VaporTips-Small cutouts at the tip of the ski to reduce vibrations and increase maneuverability.
