Tip Rocker/Camber skis for edge hold; easy turn initiation
The Dynastar Speed Zone 4X4 78 Pro skis are built for on trail performance with an increased stability in all terrain conditions and is an ideal ski for an intermediate skier. Its hybrid core gives it a lightweight feel, while the sidewall construction allows for stronger edge grip on the hard pack snow. Fiberglass reinforcement creates a more durable and stiffer ski than its brother the 4x4 78.

Hi I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the new Dynastar 4x4 78 Pro. A great ski for that athletic intermediate to mellow advanced skier who wants to dedicate themselves to the frontside of the mountain. This ski is very agile, it's very quick in and out of a turn which kind of makes it sweet spot short to medium radius turns. It has a central sidewall so you get a cap construction on the tip of the tail but a sidewall underfoot so you get that grip with the things get a little bit firm. But it's very, very maneuverable. You can skid it, you could slide it to dump some speed if you needed to. But it carves very good, it feels great on your feet. Awesome ski for that athletic intermediate to mellow advanced skier.Hide

Hi my name's Thom. I just got done riding the Dynastar Speedzone 4x4 78 Pro. This is a great ski for that really kind of athletic beginner up to a really casual, mellow advanced rider that's looking for an easy, predictable ski for the frontside of the mountain. Definitely excels on hard pack snow. It's favorite turn is kinda that short to medium radius, so if you're looking for a big GS cruiser, this isn't it. But if you want a ski that's going to be incredibly easy to control and really nimble on short, quick fall line turns, the ability to skid and smear the turns to check your speed. Something that's just going to be an easy, mellow ski on the frontside, this is it.Hide
A: This ski is not meant for a beginner to intermediate. It's a ski for and advanced intermediate to expert skier. Beginners need a softer ski to learn to push into the ski and carve. I do not recommend this for a beginner skier.
