The all new Brahma CA from Blizzard is an excellent ski for the intermediate to advanced skier looking for edge hold on the frontside and the ability to head off trail once in a while. The new Carbon Drive Construction delivers stability and energy while keeping the ski lightweight. A Poplar-Beech Wood Core combined with a Sandwich Compound Sidewall transfers energy directly towards the snow and allows you to carve like you were on rails, even on frim Back East Terrain. The 88mm waist of the Brahma CA is very edgy and quick side to side with solid flotation and crud-busting ability when it snows or you want to zip through the bumps for a few laps.

Hi I'm Brooks, I just rode the Blizzard Brahma CA. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. Really fun, awesome ski. What Blizzard did with the Brahma CA is they took out the steel and replaced it with carbon. It made the ski much lighter and snap...Read More

Hi I'm Thom and I just got off of the all-new Blizzard Brahma CA. Brand new ski for them this year, kind of a throwback to the old buchwacker; it's the Brahma without metal. I give this thing 4 out of 5 stars. It's a really fun ski, really ...Read More

Q: I am a 5'10, 165 lbs. advanced intermediate / expert skier, skiing primarily on east coast. I ski primarily telemark, but mostly on-piste. Would you recommend the 166, 173s or 180s? How do these skis compare to the Blizzard Brahma's (no CA)?
Asked : Apr 06, 2018
By : Ben, NEW YORK
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: At your height and weight I would lean towards the 173cm length. This ski has a more traditional sidecut so it skis very true to length. Unless you have a history of skiing on longer skis the 180 would likely feel a little too long. These skis are slightly more laid back than the Brahma (no CA) as they don't have any metal which should make them perform better as a tele ski.

A: The smallest Blizzard produces a Brahma CA is 166cm.

Q: I'm 39 years old, 6'0" tall and about 195 pounds. I would say that I am a very strong intermediate or expert skier. I ski primarily in the northeast. I really enjoy skiing bumps, but I like to always be in control, not bombing down the trails. Would you recommend these Brahma CA skis and if so, what length would you recommend? Thanks!

By : David, Boston
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The Brahma CA would be the first ski that I would recommend for you based on your location, ability and terrain choices. It is one of the best bump skis out there. Based on your weight and ability the 180cm would be the optimal size for you.
