Hi, my name is Kaity, I just got done riding the Blizzard Black Pearl 82. This is a great frontside, a little bit of all mountain ski. You can cruise through some trees with this not much more all mountain with that 82 waist width. Super fun in powder, really responsive. It's got a full sidewall so you just get the best grip and a lot of performance out of this ski. It's got a light carbon core so it's extremely lightweight but you don't sacrifice any of the power and strength that this ski offers. This is perfect for that intermediate to advanced skier.Hide

Q: Does this have a better edge than the Black Pearl 88? Eastern skiing, groomed and trails, need edge for ice, and snow performance for fresh snowfall. Moguls?
A: The Black Pearl 82 has an identical construction as the Black Pearl 88. The narrower waist will feel a little quicker edge to edge though. Both are very strong skis in the bumps. In my opinion, the 88 is a stronger bump ski. The wider waist offers more stability in those conditions.
