The Bladerunner Performa ABT inline skates are a great quality skate with loads of features geared towards the beginner to intermediate skater. The Performa ABT has a stylish look and is fast and comfortable. Bladerunner products are built with everything that counts for comfort, performance and durability backed by the trusted Rollerblade name. Featuring a comfortable and soft boot with buckle, powerstrap and lace closure to provide you with a secure and comfortable fit. The composite frame and ABEC 5 bearings will provide you with a nice smooth roll. A micro-adjustable ABT braking system allows you to get improved, gradual stopping power. Performance, exercise, and fun on a budget. Where's the quality you ask? Well, that part is a given with the Rollerblade name.
ABT (Active Brake Technology) is an intuitive braking system designed to help beginner to intermediate skaters. The ABT brake system works with the cuff of the skate to allow skaters to apply the brake while keeping all the wheels on the ground. The brake arm is attached to the cuff of the skate so when a skater leans back to apply the brake, the brake will automatically lower to touch the ground while the wheels remain grounded as well.

I have been regularly using these skates each morning while keeping up with my running hubby and dog and they are just what I needed. Really comfortable and secure. I will need to adjust the break to be a but lower to actually be able to use it, but it is great it comes with that function. Overall I would recommend to anyone looking for a good outdoor skate.Hide

I haven’t rollerbladed regularly in ten years. It feels great to skate again! I bought these bc I like the way the brake is designed — it’s easier to use. The wheels are smooth but not too fast, and everything feels well made and well balanced. My only complaint is that there isn’t much arch support for my feet (although that could just be me). I bought arch support insoles but haven’t tried them in the rollerblades yet. Overall, I’m very pleased with these and have been using them every weekend for over a month now. I might upgrade to something faster later on, but for now I’m very content.Hide

A: Sure, don't wear them outdoors. Search "returns" in the top site search bar or click on the returns link on the bottom of the site for full returns details.

Q: If my shoe size is 7.5 what size skate should I order
A: A 7.5 or 8 would be fine. Bladerunner tends to run pretty true to size.

Q: Is the braking system the type where you don't have to lift your foot in front in order to engage the brake? I had some skates where the brake would adjust so that all you had to do is move your right foot forward, and the brake engaged without having to lift the front of your foot. I want those skates again and hope that this is the right one. Thanks.
