The Atomic Vantage X 80 CTi W is back again this season as an excellent ski for the strong intermediate to expert skiing women who is looking for something lightweight, stable and easy to ski. Atomic's Exo Profile has slanted sidewalls that help reduce the swingweight and improve maneuverability. The Carbon Tank Mesh uses woven fibers of Carbon that beef up the torsional strength and power, without adding any extra weight. The Light Woodcore is Titanium Powered to add even more stability and power, with improved edge grip. A couple of women's specific features like an added heel lift in the binding platform and a V-Shape to the ski allow the female body shape to have more control and less fatigue as you enjoy your day on the mountain.

Hi I'm Jessica and I just got off the Atomic Vantage X 80 CTi. This ski is great for your advanced intermediate to expert level rider who likes to just stay on the front side of the mountain. This is going to get you in and out of turns quick and easily. On the harder packed snow I think it would be more ideal for that, today we have that loose snow so it did get a little loose under foot at slower speeds. But once you got it up to speed, it got through that slush conditions super fine. It was easy to maneuver once I got it up to speed, so if you're more of a laid back skier, it might not be the ski for you. But that advanced intermediate to expert level rider, it would be good for you.Hide

Hi my name is Jess and I just got done riding the Atomic Vantage X 80 CTi. This is definitely an advanced to expert level ski. What I love about it, is at that thinner core it is a great front side ski. So it is really going to get you over on edge super, super easy and it is the smoothest ride you will have on a front side ski. It holds and it grips, you feel really comfortable all the way over on edge, a little bit on edge and the greatest thing about it is you don't need all the speed in the world to get this thing to perform great. So if you're a little bit slower, or you want to take your time on some stuff or if you want to front charge anything, this is going to be a perfect ski for you.Hide
Q: What is front side versa back side or mountain side? Sometimes these reviews are written for people in the business instead of the normal skier that goes about 20 times a year.
A: Frontside of the mountain is your typical groomed resort runs. Backside would be clusters of trees with deeper ungroomed snow or big wide back bowls with deep powder.
