The Atomic Vantage 100 CTI comes back this season unchanged from last year aside from the graphics as a powerful and versatile ski that feels light on your feet. The Titanium Backbone 2.0 uses an insert that runs the full length of the ski to dampen the ride and add extra grip on frim snow. Atomic's Carbon Tank Mesh uses a woven layer of Carbon to add torsional strength and stability while making the ski lighter. Firewall Sidewalls are thicker under the binding platform with flex groves that allow the ski to flex naturally while dampening vibrations and delivering a strong edge hold. A 100mm waist can tackle any condition you will come across on any mountain with ease.

Super stable, and even though I’ve got 188cm, they turn very easily.

Evan here with the Atomic Vantage 100 CTI. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars, it was a blast. It's going to be for your strong intermediate to expert skier looking for that one-quiver ski. Easy in and out of the turns but holds an edge like ...Read More

Hi I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Atomic Vantage 100 CTI. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. This is actually one of my favorite skis out this season. 100mm underfoot, rocker in the tip, rocker in the tail. It has Atomic's Carbon Tank...Read More

Q: Hey, I ski mainly in groomed slopes and I really love to carve, I think i'm relatively agressive skier, and i'm an advanced skier. I want a pair of skis mainly for the slope, but that can handle ungrommed as well, for a little bit of off piste. I'm 5'5 (165 cm), and weight 158 lb (72 kg).. Which Vantage ski would you recommend for me an what length?

A: If you are going to split your time evenly between the groomed and ungroomed terrain I would steer you towards the Vantage 100 CTi, if you spend a little more time on piste I would direct you to the Vantage 90 CTi. Based on your weight and ability 169cm in the 90 and the 172cm in the 100.

Q: I ski on the east coast with groomed slopes. Would love to start going west at least once a season though too. I'm 50 years old, 5'9" 165lbs and have been skiing for 30+ years and love hitting the blacks and running the blue/blacks as hard as possible. I'm not keen on moguls but I would describe myself as a confident skier in the upper intermediate to advanced range. I currently ride Atomic Blackeye TI 167cm but looking to upgrade. Which Vantage ski would you recommend and what length? Thanks.

A: If you plan on spending at least half of your time on the ungroomed terrain when you travel westward I would steer you towards the Vantage 100CTI. If you will be doing less than half of your time on ungroomed terrain I would steer you towards the 90CTi. Both skis have an identical construction, just different waist widths for different terrain choices. I would recommend the 176cm in the 90CTi and the 172cm in the 100CTi.

Q: I typically ski a solid week in Tahoe and come back to mid-west snow cone hills. Last year got my first taste of powder. This year in Tahoe got mostly machine snow and some crud. I am 62 . Water skied for 30 years and now been snow skiing for last 15 years. I would describe myself as an intermediate to advanced skier following my daughter through trees and down mogul runs. I am 5' 9' and 175 lbs. What length would you recommend?

Q: Hallo, mat here from Germany. Great Reviews at all! My Question: I am 6'1" and 195 lbs. Carving the most time in short to medium Radius with my SL. Our Locations are most tight. many Bumps and so on. Do you think, the 180 ist absolutely too short?

A: I have spent a fair amount of time on both the 180cm and 188cm lengths in this ski and (while slightly heavier) am a similar build to you. My personal preference is the 188cm length for the high powered GS feel it offers. However, for medium to SL length turns the 180cm will not be a ski that you find you can over power, it still offers enough support for a 195 lbs skier. At tops speeds on open GS turns or off piste you may find the tip gets a little chatter in the 180cm length but it is not a significant amount. It sounds like the 180cm would be best for you.

Q: I currently ride Volkl super sport six stars purchased new in 2004 (168cm). I'd like to upgrade to something that won't sink as bad in powder, but can still rip groomers. I tend to run blue/black and black runs. Ski once in CO each year for a few days. I like to go through trees and burn down open runs whenever possible. I'm 5'8” 165lbs and have skied since I was 5 (currently 29). Are these Atomic 100 CTI's a good fit? What length? Thanks!

A: This would be a great option for you, very maneuverable on the groomers with enough girth to give you flotation when things are deep or you are in ungroomed terrain. Based on your weight and ability I would recommend the 180cm.
