Hey, Jess here. I just got off the Salomon Lavas. I would give this ski a 3 out of 5 stars. It's definitely meant for an intermediate level skier looking to get a little bit better. It's got a good weight on it and it's got a really nice hold. It's very stable. My only thing I didn't like so much about it is, if you're not comfortable with carving it as an intermediate skier, this ski catches really quickly and can maybe throw you off balance if you're not comfortable setting your edges in a true carve yet. If you are and that's what you're looking to get better at then this is the perfect ski for you.

Hi, I'm Julie. I just got off the Salomon Lava. I give this ski a 3 out of 5 star rating. It's a good ski for a beginner to intermediate level skier that really likes to take it slow on the groomed trails. If you're a cautious skier it's really not looking to charge too hard. It is a nice ski. It does turn very easily but not great at speed.

Hi, I'm Linda. I just skied the Salomon Lava. This is a 3 out of 5 beginner ski. It turns easily. It's very forgiving. You can be in the back. It doesn't have any rebound or anything so it is kind of nice for the beginner but it doesn't do much. It's kind of a traditional ski. Again 3 out of 5.

Hi, I'm Lisa. I just skied the Salomon Lava. I give this ski a 3 out of 5 rating for a beginner skier. This ski would be a good ski for you if you want to learn to ski and you want to keep constant contact with the snow. Very easy terrain. And it'll help you learn some turns.
