Hey, I'm Rob from and joined today by John from Giro. John, thanks for joining us. Oh, for sure, man.

So, we're talking about a brand new helmet for Giro this year, the Flare. A women's specific helmet kind of built off of the Edit from last year from Giro. This helmet has so many features, where's the first place you start? Ultra lightweight. This is number one. You know, for the gal that's going to hard charge it and maybe even head in the back bowls, the backcountry, lightweight was number one which that mandates that it's going to be Giro's In-Mold Technology. So, it's the perfect fusion of that outer protective shell and the inner protective liner to give her the best performance, best fit on the mountain. For sure, and it's such a low profile shape too. Oh it just literally just blends right into it. I love it. And then, the fit system, the Roc Lock 5... Yeah, best ever. I mean, Giro's got great history with custom fit systems. Roc Lock 5 actually born out of our ultra light bike helmets is the most precise you know, dial fit system out there so Roc Lock 5 is just the right wrap, super easy with a mitten or glove too.

For sure, and then also the Vertical Tuning on this helmet. Yeah, you know, whether she's rolling a puffy or whatever and the thing's just bumping and it's got a little bit of a goggle gap or a nose press, on-the-fly Vertical Tuning with this. You literally can just push or pull it and get the right adjustment for your face and head shape. So, easy to do. And then tons of ventilation on this helmet too. Yeah, Super Cool Vents, you know, throughout. It even starts up front with a Stack Vent so if she's rolling something like the new Giro Field Goggle, it's going to pull the moisture right out of the top and port it out the back of the helmet and then in addition, we've got Thermostat Control that is micro-adjustable so whether it's a spring day or a full winter storm, she can really dial it in right from the lift with her mitt. And then one of my favorite features on this helmet, it's GoPro compatible. Yeah, Giro's design team work with GoPro specifically...where do we want to put a GoPro mount and they said right on the brim of the helmet so just as easy as popping out the plug, dropping the set up on there, you can catch your kids or your friends ripping off some big turns. And it's so great that you can have something that's GoPro compatible and you don't have to have that mount on your helmet when you're not using it. If you're not using a GoPro you don't even know that it's there. Pop it right on and off. The helmet just looks like it does any time. Yeah, maybe she wants to hike and earn her turns, it's even got Giro's Trip Clip on there which is a bungee system and has a little carabiner on the side that will pack onto her back or belt clip if you're traveling to get some turns out west, whatever, boom, there you go. Trip clip.

For sure, this helmet is incredible. It is so tricked out especially for a women's helmet. Something you always see on the men's side but doesn't always translate over to the women's side of things. So incredible that Giro's doing it this year. Yeah, she got hooked up for sure. Yeah, this helmet is incredible. The Flare from Giro. Check it out on and John, thanks for joining us. And thank you for joining us.
