2013 Elan Amphibio Waveflex 82 XTi Ski Review

Reviewed by Jeff (Skis.com Staff)

Read the Review Transcript:
Whats going on Jeff here. Just got of this new Waveflex XTI for 2013. This is a fun ski. I would like to maybe get ahold of some maybe a little bit longer than their 168 to see what limits you can actually push this to. I'm going to give it a 4 out of 5 star because it is a good ski. It's going to be really fun for you high end intermediate, advanced skier, somebody who's going to be doing some mainly frontside skiing. If you want to cruise the groomers, maybe chase your kids for a day or to go out and do some fun turns, this ski is going to be able to do a lot of things for you. It's torsionally stiff with its verticle sidewall. And the Amphibio technolgy behind it so you're getting rocker, camber and type different races built into this ski. So that uphill ski with the lesser radius on the outside really slides in nicely make it so you can initiate into your next turn very well. Again it's another good ski from Elan.
