Here are some general frame guidelines depending on what type of face shape you have. Oval Face: If your face is slightly long and gently rounded, you have an oval face. Almost any type of sunglass frame will fit you well. So pick any style you like, because changes are they will look good. Round Face: If your face has stronger curves, you have a round face. Because your face has stronger curves, sunglasses with more square features will compliment you best. Also, narrow frames and high temples work well, as they help with definition. Oblong Face: If your face is long and between square and rounded, you have an oblong face. Because your face is longer, oversized sunglasses tend to work well. Try and find a pair with round or rectangular lenses and a thick frame. Triangle Face: If you have a wider forehead and a narrow chin, you have a triangle face. Sunglasses with well rounded edges or those with a wider lower edge tend to look the best. Also, avoid frames with a straight line across the top. Square Face: If you have a boxier face with sharper edges, then you have a square face. Oversized frames, Jakie-O type frames, and those with curvier styles will work best. Frames with sharp edges tend to not work as well.
