A great ski boot for recreational skiers and anybody who wants a great fit with comfortable flex Tecnica's Modo 10 with UltraFit liner is all about comfort and convenience. Tecnica designed their Modo series with a 50/50 blend of hard and soft material creating more comfort easier entry and a superb fit that wraps around your foot. By comparison the Tecnica Diablo performance series uses a 70/30 blend of hard/soft materials. The Modo 10 give you a comfortable fit around your foot while still allowing enough hard material for the torsional rigidity that you'll need for ski control and stability. Tecnica also expanded the shell size inside the Modo increasing the room for a new PCS (Progressive Cushioning System) with a thicker ethafoam liner and a plush multi-layered footbed. The ethafoam material around your foot has a slow memory that gives you a fit that feels custom and the extra padding in the footbed also enhances the shock absorption. In back you'll find a ski walk design that also doubles as an easy entry/exit device. With the Alu micro buckles closed the Modo 10 boot offers plenty of free flex from the ankle up for easy walking. Beneath it all is a bi-injected AVS inset that helps absorb additional impact while doubling as a non-skid surface on the sole of the boot. If comfort and convenience is everything the Modo 10 treats you right with a great fit and plenty of customization options. Just remember that it has a flex index of 65 so it's generally best suited for terrain that doesn't require a ton of technical precision.
