Q: Hi!! Where can I buy this skate in Chicago??? I've been looking for everywhere and I can't find any place.

A:A sad reality with brick and mortar inline skate stores are they are very hard to find. A quick google search led me to a few closed shops in the Chicago area but I did not locate a listing for a current and active shop. I don't have a definitive answer but will leave your question up and maybe someone from Chicago will see it and answer it. We do have some brick and mortar stores in Michigan under the name Summit Sports if you want to go on a road trip. Other than that, we do ship to Chicago if you purchase skates from us so keep that in mind ;)

Q: What's the difference between Rollerblade METROBLADE urban inline skate 2017 and Rollerblade METROBLADE GM ? I've heard that a base of Rollerblade METROBLADE urban inline skate made from composit material it means not carbon.

Know the answer? Answer this question

A:There are a few differences in the 2 skates, the main differences that make up the difference in price are, carbon soul on metroblade GM and composite soul on regular metroblade, Rollerblade Pro aluminum frame on Metroblade GM and 243 frame on regular Metroblade, SG9 bearings on Metroblade GM and ILQ7 bearings on regular Metroblade. So, Metroblade GM has upgraded frame, bearings and carbon soul. For very high end skaters these differences will be felt in performance and are worth the added price.

Q: I have 260mm skinny feet, so usually choose smaller size for soft boots, (with thin superfit yellow insole..) because my feet get hardly tighten up. Is this model able to downsize half to one size to get more inside padding? If that would be possible, I want to go down to 255 or 250mm. and wondering if 250mm boots use same shell with 255mm boots, too.

Know the answer? Answer this question

A:The shell size changes with the skate size since there is no real internal liner in this skate. The size 7 is going to be the 250mm if that is the fit you are looking for. The Metroblade skates are probably a great choice for you since the boot is designed to fit fairly snug and narrow giving a very close fit.

Q: I have a skinny build so most plastic mold frames either A) wont get tight enough around my legs/ankles, or B) they rub and are painful. These skates don't look like they would have the pain/rub issue. Could these skates be a good choice for someone like myself on the skinny side?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A:The metroblade fits fairly "normal" as far as the width goes so not sure exactly how the fit will be with a narrower foot. With no separate cuff the fit is a little different than most skates but is actually very comfortable. If you need to "fill" space if the skate feels to loose you can always add an aftermarket footbed or other inner boot accommodation.
