The Atomic Vantage X 75 CTI will be a favorite ski for intermediate to advanced skiers that will be spending all of their time on the groomed trails. The Carbon Tank Mesh uses woven fibers that add extra strength to the ski, while maintaining a lightweight feeling. Atomic's Titanium Backbone 2.0 and Power Woodcore are very stable at high speeds, but have a snappy and lively feeling to it. All-Mountain Rocker uses tip rocker for quick turn initiation, and camber underfoot provides rebound and edge hold. The Exo Profile has a 3D Profile with slanted and reinforced sidecuts that lower the swingweight and increase the amount of maneuverability you have for zipping tight radius turns down the mountain. The Vantage X 75 CTI has Firewall Sidewalls that have great vibration dampening properties to smooth out the ride when you are moving fast, and drive right into firm snow conditions.

Hi I'm Paulie. I just got off the Atomic Vantage 75 CTI. I give this ski a solid 4 out of 5 stars. This is for a solid intermediate skier who is maybe looking to gain more speed. It's a great groomer ski. It makes short and medium turns ver...Read More

Q: I am skiing on Atomic Blackeye Ti's (121/82/106, 160 cm) , about 5 years old. I am a high intermediate to advanced skier ( 75 years old) that stays mainly on groomers. I'm getting a little "chatter" at times and would like to get a longer ski (170 cm). If possible, I would like to stay with a "75" waist ski. The Atomic X 75 CTI looked like a good fit until I read some evaluations/comments, now I'm concerned I may need a more advanced ski. Would appreciate your comments. Thank you, Jay.

A: It does not sound like the Vantage X 75 CTi would be enough ski for you. I would encourage you to take a look at the Vantage X 80 or 83 CTi. Even though they have a bit wider of a waist they are super nimble and quick edge to edge with the stability you need.

Q: Do they come ready to ski? Waxed and bindings set. Also, I'm an advanced intermediate. 150lbs 5'5". Currently ski 156cm Fischer Progressor 8+ , 90%-95% groomers. I was considering the 156 length same as the Fischers but your ski wizard recommends 163. What length do you recommend for this ski? Thanks.

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The skis come waxed from the factory with an all-purpose, all-temp wax. It never hurts to add a more conditions specific wax before you hit the slopes. We cannot install bindings unless boots are purchased with them, we need the actual boot to release test the bindings. Please understand that this is for your safety. Based on your weight and ability I recommend the 163cm.

Q: Are those skis good for lightweight beginner-intermediate skier that wants to learn?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: This would make a perfect ski for you. It is always a good idea to jump up slightly in skill level when making an investment in your equipment. The X 75 CTi will not be too demanding or aggressive to help you improve, but will also be supportive and stable once you get there.
