Q: Is it possible to add a brake to the order? Also, I do a little bit of jumping, are these big wheels going to withstand that as well? (Right now I'm skating on 84 mm wheels.) Also, could I put 100 mm wheels on these skates if the 125s were too fast for me? Thank you. :)

A: While Powerslide does make a brake housing unit for the Megacruier series, we do not carry them at this time, so you would have to order them either from the manufacturer directly or from another vendor. The hard shell design on the Imperial Megacruiser is designed to hold up to some jumps and trick usage, but the frame and overall design is not structured to work well with smaller than standard 125mm wheels.

Q: hi I live in a city with a lot of cracks and crappy side walks. what would be a good skate. like three wheels or 4 wheels and stuff like that

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: A 3 wheeled skate like this would be good but with the large wheels could end up being a bit too "fast" for zipping around people and other obstacles. This is an urban skate which is the style of skate that would be best for you. Urban skates are specifically meant for use in city settings and are more maneuverable and are built to take abuse. It really depends on what you're looking for, a skate like this megacruiser offers 3 big wheels so you get a bit more speed but still have a short wheelbase meaning you can corner and move better, a skate like the Twister 80 from Rollerblade offers 4 80mm wheels so you may feel more stable and sit lower on that skate but won't have as much speed.
