The K2 Midtown urban inline skates are simply a fun pair of inline skates, and they feature some really cool designs too. Choose blue or gray before you take off and skate through the crowds of the busy city streets on these easy to control and fun to be in skates.

The boot of the K2 Midtown urban skates look more like a fashionable pair of sneakers than they do an awesome pair of inline skates. It's this style that's going to fit in within any urban setting, but what really fits in is the design of the Midtown. With 80mm wheels and an Abec 5 bearing you get a great mixture of control and speed, but not too much speed making these safe and effective skates for getting around on a busy sidewalk. The 80mm wheel size is big enough to easily go over imperfections in the sidewalk but won't spin so fast to get out of control. To ensure you have all the support needed K2 used their aggressive skate cuff on the Midtown so a lengthy skate doesn't turn into sore feet for the rest of the day. Giving you a nice sense of closure are traditional laces matched with a double Velcro closure so you can choose your level of snugness.

The K2 Midtown is not the skate for someone looking to break any land speed records but are great for the urban city skater looking to get from point a to b in a fun and safe manner, even if there are obstacles to avoid along the way. The K2 Midtown is here to bring the fun back to inline skating!

  • K2 inline skates are going to fit the same as your everyday athletic shoe size.

For me, I ended up cutting into both shins on my first skate. For me, I cannot lace all the way up. I leave the last/top loop empty, tie them snug but not tight, the straps offer good support, and I've been good to go. Super high quality. J...Read More

These skates fit well. They hurt a little on the top because the plastic part rubs on the skin but with long socks they are perfect.

I bought one pair for my son and one for me. Very comfortable. I could, and did, skate in these for hours. Just unbox and go blading. For my son, with his wide feet and ankles, they're perfect for him. I have narrow to medium feet (I wear 8...Read More

Q: Ive had these for about a week now. had to drill a hole where my ankle bone cause the frame was so tight, after was fine. but now the inside of my heels feel like the frame is squeezing my feet. i wear a size 12 in all my shoes, should i go with a 12.5 in the future, can i get a heel lift to eliminate the issue or is this due to maybe wrong size or could it just be my feet is wider then most. Want to buy the uptown next. please help

A: It sounds like the skates are simply a little narrow for you at this time, but keep in mind they will break in over time as you skate in them. If you've had them for a week and skated each day with them then they are probably about fully broken in but if not they may still have some softening up to come. It does sound like you may have a wider foot but if that's the case then you most likely take your shoes in a wider width as well. If that is the case then you would most likely benefit going with the 12.5 when you get the Uptown skates. You can then update the interior with an aftermarket heel lift or footbed, whatever you need to get the fit you need. I have outfitted skates with heel lifts in the past for wide feet and it has worked well

A: You will want to drop a full size and since there is no 7.5 I would try the size 8, there is a chance this will be too large and you may even need to go down to the size 7. If you're able to you could try on some men's athletic shoes at a local shop in a size 7 and 8 and see how they fit, inline skates are going to fit very similar to athletic shoes so it could give you a good idea.
