I wear a size 15 shoe, will the x-large binding be big enough for me?

  2. jrickard Jenna Rickard says:

    Jesse,

An extra large binding will work, however I do suggest getting a binding with a lot of options for adjustment. Most bindings should have adjustments to make the straps a lot larger if necessary. I would also recommend getting yourself into a binding of decent quality. With a boot that large and the pressure on the binding, a good binding will not only hold up better but also properly transfer your energy to your board.

I wear an 8- so does that mean i’m a small/med or med/lrg.. i feel like im right in the middle!

  4. Austin Austin says:

I have a size 15 boot(I also weight 200lbs) and was looking at the Ride RX binding. Do you think the binding will would fit me well and hold up for many years? Thanks

  5. jrickard Jenna Rickard says:

    Austin,

Absolutely! This is a great binding and is extremely durable. Ride uses aircraft grade aluminum on the frames of their bindings, so they are sure to hold up. I have the SPI from 5 years ago and they are still holding strong. The RX is about the middle of the road for Ride in terms of performance and is a good all mountain binding. Just make sure you get the XL of course.

    Colleen,

Actually you are in the middle with a lot of bindings! For most though, I would go with the medium/large A lot of times a small/medium binding maxes out a 7 or an 8. And the age of the boot as well as the brand causes differences in the width, length and bulkiness of the boot. Older boots are much bulkier than something you would purchase right now. A medium/large binding will allow for any size 8 boot and will leave plenty of room for adjustments.

Make sure you are looking at women’s bindings in that size range though. Most men’s bindings in a medium/large will start at a men’s size 8 which would be like a women’s 9. Also be sure to check out the size charts for the brand you are specifically looking at as they do vary a bit from one brand to the next. You can do that by going to the Sizing Variances section of our Snowboard Bindings Sizing Guide.

I wear a size 7 boot (women), and i can only find small gnu b-real bindings here. I’m wondering if they would possibly fit my boots?

  8. jrickard Jenna Rickard says:

    Petra,

The s/m will work as long as you aren’t still growing. That binding should max out at around a size 7, so you should be alright.

  9. Maxime Maxime says:

I have size 13.5 boots, will they fit in a 10.0+ size binding?

  10. jrickard Jenna Rickard says:

    Maxime,

They will fit, but I do suggest making sure you are getting yourself a binding of good quality. A larger boot like yours will put a lot of pressure and wear on the binding so I would recommend getting something like a Ride in an extra large, or something else that will really hold up. There are some cheaper bindings out there that may fit a boot 10 and up, but the performance, comfort and durability that you need just won’t be there, especially with a larger sized boot.

Are Bindings usually gender specific. My girlfriend is a size 9.5 and it shows in the chart that she needs a LARGE binding. So, if they are gender specific, could she possibly use a men’s medium. HELP PLEASE!

  12. Daniel Daniel says:

I wear a true 9, I’ve been told to get a size medium but the size chart says size large fits 9. Which binding size would give me the best fit? Any help would be great!!

I was also wondering, is the color more lime green, or is like more yellow, I’ve seen in other pictures that it looks almost yellow like, but this website looks def lime green.

  13. aschaa01 Andrew Schaad says:

    Daniel,

Sizing for snowboard bindings will vary from one brand to the next. However, if you’re looking at the general size chart, this is just a general outline of how bindings are sized in the industry. If you can tell me the brand and model(s) that you’re looking at, I can do my best to get you accurate sizing information so you know which size to order. Typically if you’re in the edge of two sizes you’ll want to go to the larger size to avoid toe drag and buckle problems when strapping in.

Also, I’m not sure which model you’re referring to in respect to lime green or yellow. If you can give me that too, I can try to get an honest color representation for you.
