The Volkl RTM 84 UVO is a perfect ski for aggressive skiers seeking stability, speed, and phenomenal carving ability. Made with the UVO (Ultimate Vibration Object) which absorbs vibrations on three different axis'. By dampening vibrations horizontally, vertically, and torsionally; you get one of the most stable carving skis ever created. Camber underfoot provides tremendous edge hold and rebound, while rocker in the tip and tail allow the RTM 84 to dive into and out of turns very precisely. Volkl's 3D Ridge Technology uses a raised center channel over the length of the ski with a thinner construction over the sidewalls reduces the effort required for you to maneuver the ski, increases the stability, and overall enjoyment while tearing up the groomers.

I just got off the Volkl RTM 84 and if you are a big, 225lb +, east coast, mainly crud skier with 100+ flex boots you will LOVE the Volkl RTM 84. This ski lays-in very predictably on every turn then rockets to edge like every big guy dream...Read More

Q: I am 6'3" and 215 pounds. I am an expert skier. I am thinking of getting the Volkl RTM 84 skis. Any suggestions on length? I am also thinkin of the Head Supershape I Titan, but the longest they come is 177 and I am just not sure that is long enough. Any comments or ideas?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The 182cm in the RTM 84 UVO would be the optimal size for you. A 177cm will not give you the stability and performance that you as an expert skier would want.

Q: Thinking of getting the Volkl RTM 84 skis. I am on the large side (6'2', 270 lbs). Is the 182 or 177 length a big deal? Currently have AC30s in 177. Any other recommendations? Ski most of the time on the groomers, once in a while will venture out.
