The Mantra from Volkl is back again this season as a best-selling ski for aggressive experts seeking all-mountain versatility. The Multi-Layer Wood Core uses two different densities of wood for extra strong screw retention, and a well-rounded flex pattern for control and precision. A Full Titanal Layer adds a little extra weight to the Mantra, but delivers unmatched stability, no matter how fast you can ski, or what type of terrain you want to plow through. A Full Rocker Profile creates a highly maneuverable feeling for tight turns in the trees, tearing down a steep groomer, or letting them run in an open powder field. Moderate Taper in the tips and tail improves the performance in powder, by not allowing the ski to get hooked up in the super deep. The Volkl Mantra has a devout following that grows every season, it is time for you to find out for yourself why.

Hi I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Volkl Mantra. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. Every year the Mantra is a fantastic ski for bigger, stronger, more aggressive skiers that want a ski that can handle any type of condition, any type of terrain. 100mm underfoot and a full rocker profile, this thing can really charge on the hard pack but it's super easy to maneuver. You've got to roll it through big powerful turns and it skis fantastic. It skis great in the powder and it's really wide enough and stiff enough to just point it and shoot it and charge it. 5 out of 5.

Hi I'm Steve and I just got off the Volkl Mantra. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. Super burley ski, loves the high speeds, really great for carving hard turns or just fast charging straight down the mountain. Cuts through the crud really well, takes a really good edge. Definitely suited for the advanced-intermediate to expert skier, really a lot of fun to push up to speed. Enjoy skiing it a lot - I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Hi my name is Steve, I just got off the new Volkl Mantra. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. It's very nice transition edge to edge, very smooth, graceful ski. However I use to like it better when it was a cambered ski, it's now a full rocker ski and as a result i don't think it's as poppy and as snappy. Edge hold on it is not as strong and I just don't like it as much as I did before. So I like the Volkl 90Eight, which is very similar to this ski but it's got camber better than I do this ski so I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Hey I'm Paulie and I just skied the Volkl Mantra. I give this ski a 5 out of 5 star rating. This is truly an expert level, all-mountain, go anywhere do anything type ski. It will handle any snow condition that you can throw at it. You can ski bumps with it, its kind of agile even though it's kind of wide. It will handle deeper snow very easily because of the full rocker profile of the ski. This is truly an all-mountain, expert level, go anywhere and do anything ski, a solid 5 out of 5 star rating.

Hi I'm Brooks, I just got off the Volkl Mantra. Awesome ski, 5 out of 5 stars for me. Holds a great edge, take it anywhere, really good at high speeds. Nice and stiff so it will hold that edge pretty good on quick short turns, great ski 5 out of 5.

Hi I'm Thom, I just got off the Volkl Mantra. 5 out of 5 stars for this ski, yet again. Year after year this thing just continues to impress. This ski is definitely geared for your advanced and upward level skier. The one thing that this isn't is forgiving, but if you're going to get after it and if you're going to ski hard and you want something that can absolutely rail a carve, but then still be nimble and fun in the trees and crud this is a great choice for it. But again advanced to expert level skiers for sure.

Fantastic Ski!
Comments:
A really fantastic ski. It's at its best in softer snow conditions where the rocker profile really lets you smear off of soft bumps and glide through boot-deep snow and chop. It's not the best ski for really firm conditions. It's comes to life when you have at least an inch or two of fresh snow or soft corduroy underneath you. The ski is stiffer towards the tail and front with a softer midsection. In its element, it carves really, really nice buttery medium to long arcs. Not the most fun ski at slower speeds but at medium-fast to fast speeds in softer conditions it's a really, really great ski. This would be great for someone who already has a pair of carving skis and is looking for a pair for those big snow days where it can take you anywhere on the mountain.. Good ski for bigger skiers who want to play in the softer stuff. I'm 6'0 and 200 lbs 184 cm.

2016 Volkl Mantra Ski Review by Hunter
Comments:
Hey, this is Hunter. I just got off the Volkl Mantra. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. It's for your go-anywhere, do-anything shredder. I like it because you can ski it like a race ski anywhere. Soft snow, firm snow, chunked up snow, go fast and tip it over, this ski does it. I'm not the only reviewer that loves it. Again, it's a 5 out of 5 star ski year-after-year.

I'm Adam and I was just skiing on the Volkl Mantra. I give this ski 5 out of 5 stars. It makes a great ski for that advanced to expert skier who's really looking for a powerful ski. With the rocker profile and waist width it can really take on any condition that the mountain has to offer. It's nice and stiff and stable for big fast sweeping turns and it's got the width and the rocker profile to really have fun on the soft snow. 5 out of 5.

2016 Volkl Mantra Ski Review by Thom
Comments:
Hi, I'm Thom and I just got off of the Volkl Mantra. I'm going to give this guy 5 out of 5 stars. This is a super, super versatile ski. It's really designed for that high level intermediate who's transitioning into advanced up through an expert level skier who wants one ski to manage the entire mountain. It's definitely got enough grip that it's really strong on hard pack, super comfortable, real stable. But with the tip taper and the width, it really can handle even up to knee deep powder, it's going to be just fine. It's got plenty of float to it. So, just a truly, truly versatile all-mountain ski. 5 out of 5.
