The Volkl Ledge is a perfect, economical park ski for the new school scene. With a Symmetrical shape you will be spinning your way to X Games fame in no time. The 85 mm waist is a perfect landing platform for stomping big airs, and having a low swing weight for 270s on to rails and boxes. The Multi-Layer Sensorwood Core with a Power/Tough Box Construction has lots of spring and pop to it, just how jibber Joe likes it. If you like a springy ski to make the ski instructor girls drool step out the window on to the Volkl Ledge.

        Comments about Volkl Ledge Skis:

I'm Kyle here. Just got off the Volkl Ledge. I give this ski a 4 out of 5. It was a really fun, playful ski. Has full sidewall, so it holds really good edge. It's a really hard pack day today, but I could get really far over and kind of play with the ski. Yet, it was still really fun, playful in the park, it's a really great all mountain ski. Anywhere for professional to anywhere from an intermediate skier. So again, I give this ski a 4 out of 5.

Evan here. Just got off the Volkl Ledge. I give this ski 4 out of 5 stars. It's going to be a great ski for that intermediate up to advanced skier, who's just looking for good all mountain cruising on the hard pack snow, or getting into the park and throwing down some tricks. It would definitely handle great on the rails and jumps, and a really great ski all around. 4 out of 5.

What kind of bindings would one use with these skis?

                  A:

The best bindings for these skis will vary based on your weight and how aggressively you will be skiing on them. If you are going to occasional ski park and/or weight 115lbs of less the Marker Squire or the Salomon Z12 TI would be good options. If you plan on skiing a lot of park and/or weight 115-185lbs then the Marker Griffon or the Salomon STH2 13 WTR would be ideal. If you weight 185lbs or more then the Marker Jester or the Rossignol FKS 14 would be your best choices. Regardless of what binding you decide to select make sure you choose a brake with from 85-90mm to ensure the best fit.
