Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis for versatile all-mountain

The Ledge comes back this season with a new rocker profile as a great park ski for the younger and lighter weight skier looking to improve their skills in the freestyle scene. The new rocker, camber, rocker profile will help you engage a quicker edge when it is time to ollie up on a box or rail. The camber underfoot will give you some snap and power, and the tail rocker will release you out of a turn effortlessly. Volkl's power/tough box construction is the same that Volkl uses in their race skis, that will give you power and control. The multi-layer Sensorwood core has vertically laminated poplar and beech wood layers that give you lots of pop and spring, that can make your urban sessions last longer into the night as long as the fuzz or some rent-a-cop does not run you down. The new Ledge from Volkl will not disappoint you, if you are looking for a freestyle ski that has lots of spring and pop.

2013 Volkl Ledge Ski Review
Comments:
Hi, Tom here with the Volkl Ledge, I'm gonna give this thing a 3 1/2 out of 5. Stable ski, real buttery, really playful, definitely geared towards your pure park rider. It is a symmetrical twin, I think in a little longer length I might of enjoyed it a little bit more. It does get into the turn easy, it holds an edge, it tracks, it skis switch really well, but the overall flex pattern on it does limit it to a pure park ski. If your just a straight up freestyle rider, and you want a really fun, buttery, jib stick, this would be a great choice.

2013 Volkl Ledge Ski Review
Comments:
Hey this is Micah Riding the Volkl Ledge in a 163cm. I really wish I could ride them a little bit longer length, cause it's made for a bit more advanced rider. In the little bit shorter length it's a little to soft, but anything for park it was super easy. Super flexible so you don't have any problems with butter's any kinds of grinds, or anything like that. Very stable side to side I didn't have any edge slipping up. It's not to great at making big turns or anything when your cruising. It's definitely a 5/5 for a park ski. Super fun I recommend you get on it sometime this next season.

2013 Volkl Ledge Ski Review
Comments:
Hey, I'm Brad, I just got off the Volkl Ledge I'm gonna give this ski a 4 1/2 out of 5. I actually really liked it, it surprised me I'm not much of a park rider all the time, but this ski was super fun. Really poppy, easy to ski forwards ,backwards, real snappy turn to turn, and you know just like most Volkl's, held an edge super well underfoot, especially at high speeds. Definitely not for your all mountain guy, who's gonna spend all his time frontside, or side country. Definitely wanna be more of a park rider to ski it, but again just a really fun ski even outside. I took this for a 180, almost even over rotated, I couldn't believe how well this thing got off the ground. So like I said, if your looking for a fun little ski, play in the park with, super poppy, super light for us lightweight guys, this would be an awesome choice.
