The Ledge Jr. from Volkl is a great ski for little skiers that can hit the park or zip down a groomer. This all mountain twin tip has Volkl's Sensorwood Core that has vertically laminated wood that has plenty of pop and stability for aggressive little skiers, but can be forgiving enough for true beginners. The Ledge Jr. has a Full Rocker profile that is extremely maneuverable for the groomers, and can be playful in the park if they feel daring enough to attempt small boxes and rails. Volkl's Power Shell has a full Cap Construction that gives the Ledge Jr. an easy, rounded flex pattern, with a little extra durability. If you have a first time skier, or a progressive little one that is not afraid of too many runs, the Ledge Jr. will be a nice selection for them.

Q: Can a squire 11 binding be mounted to the 138 length?

Know the answer? Answer this question

A:The Ledge Jr. has a thinner construction to not compromise the flex for a smaller skier. An adult Marker Squire binding would most likely dimple the base, even with an experienced tech being careful. I would recommend the Marker Free Ten. The Free Ten has short screws included with it that allows it to be mounted on a junior ski without going through the base.

Q: I have a pair of Volkl Ledge Jr. Kids skis they are 138 cm long could an adult use these skis or is their a weight and size limit that these skis would not work for them.

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: It would not be a good idea for an adult to use a Junior Ski. The max weight limit would be around 130lbs. at the very high end. This ski has a thinner and softer core that would pull out of the ski when pressure is applied to them.
