The image pictured is the ski in new condition of stock photo of the graphic not the actual ski that you will be receiving.

Each one of our USED DEMO skis has been inspected and graded by qualified and experienced technician. That inspection includes a tuning where both the base and side edges have been sharpened, bases have been ground to better than factory structure and waxed with an all purpose/all temperature wax.

Each ski has been graded and priced according to that condition.

A GRADE

  • Appears to have been skied on 5-10 days.
  • Shows small chips above the sidewalls in front of and/or behind the bindings on less than 1/3 of ski.
  • Very minor top sheet chips or scratches that are not as deep as the wood or fibers.
  • 1-2 Smaller top sheet chips have been epoxied and fixed correctly.
  • Bindings have all DIN windows and have few nicks and chips.
  • Bases have no major gouges.
  • Both tip protectors are intact and complete.
  • Both brakes are intact.

B GRADE

  • Appeared to have been skied on 10-25 days.
  • Shows chipping above the sidewalls in front of and/or behind the bindings on less than 1/3 of ski.
  • 1-2 Larger top sheet chips or scratches that require epoxy that go as deep as the wood or fibers.
  • Larger top sheet gouges that have been correctly repaired.
  • Bindings have all DIN Windows, but have some scratches.
  • Bases have some light gouges that have been properly p-texed.
  • Both tip protectors are intact and complete.
  • Both brakes are intact.

Demo Bindings come pre-mounted and will accommodate any adult size alpine ski boot. Even though the bindings have been release tested, they must still be taken to a certified binding technician with your boots present before you use them for a visual inspection of your boots and to release test the bindings with your specific height, weight, age, skier type, and boot sole length for your safety. Properly adjusted alpine ski bindings are the most important piece of safety equipment to help guard against injury on the slopes. This is a safety test that must be done by a certified technician that you cannot perform yourself because it requires carefully calibrated equipment to accurately measure the amount of force that it takes to release the specific boot from the binding.

Starting from the date of arrival you have a seven day inspection period. If your demo purchase is not all that you hoped for please notify us to start processing your return. Return expenses are the responsibility of the customer. For a pre-paid return label, please contact our Customer Care Team. A full refund, excluding roundtrip shipping costs will be issued upon receipt, provided the item meets all return criteria.

Skis.com has pre-tested each USED DEMO ski binding to ensure that it functions correctly. Once the bindings are moved or adjusted the skis are not returnable.

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: This ski is already mounted with a Tyrolia Sympro 10 binding. It still needs to have a Tyrolia Technician adjust them, and test them according to your specs.
