From complete whiteouts to bluebird powder days, the ThermoBall Snow Triclimate Parka from The North Face is ready to take on whatever the season throws its way. Its zip-in ThermoBall Insulated Liner combined with a 2L DryVent shell makes for a breathable, waterproof and fully seam sealed parka. The four-snap powder skirt with gripper elastic ensures no snow creeps in your jacket for a dry, comfortable ride. The dual-adjustment, helmet compatible hood offers additional warmth in chilly weather and under arm venting is put in place when things start to heat up, allowing you to self-regulate. Multiple pockets, including a media/security pocket and a goggle pocket are ideal for holding any on slope necessities. This jacket also features a wrist accessory pocket with a goggle cloth, a PU logo and is zip-in compatible with other complimenting garments from The North Face.
I had a thermoball jacket that was nearly identical as this one, I believe it was the previous year's model. Overall I really liked it. The triple layer insulation really helps kill the chill on colder days but the jacket is normal looking enough that i can wear it to work or riding quads.
