The Tecnica Demon Pro is a high powered boot for experts who are looking for race precision that have a narrow forefoot, narrow leg shape, and tall instep. The 98mm last is built on a race platform that has a powerful feeling. Tecnica's Powerchasis beefs up the torsional strength of the sole of the boot to give you more power from edge to edge on your skis, especially at high speeds. The Ultrafit Pro Liner is very dense and resists packing out. If you are looking for a boot with a powerful flex and a narrow fit, the Tecnica Demon Pro is just for you.

I bought these not because I wanted an expert level of tightness but because I'm skinny and these happened to be the perfect mold for my narrow feet. As an intermediate skier, there was a good deal more rigidity than appropriate for me, but...Read More

Q: The boots Demon pro I have only has a single bolt on the back spine, am I missing something? Can this be removed or replaced with a different blot to adjust the flex?
Asked : May 17, 2017
By : Doug, Toronto
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Removing that bolt (most Tecnica spine bolts are not removable) would result in a significant loss of rebound and forward flex resistance. I would recommend taking them to a bootfitter to grind down strategic areas of the shell to soften the boot for you. This would be permanent of course.

Q: There is a section that says there is a flex adjust available. How does that work?
Asked : Feb 28, 2017
By : Doug, Toronto
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The Demon Pro has two bolts in the back spine; you can remove one of the bolts to soften up the boot. Removing both bolts is not recommended.

Q: What is the BSL (mm length) of these Demon Pro ski boots? In the size 28 and 28.5?
Asked : Apr 09, 2016
By : Doc, Tucson, AZ
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: The 28 and 28.5 have a BSL of 320mm. The 28 and 28.5 use the exact same shell, and same liner. The only difference between the two is the thickness of the stock footbed, which should be replaced by an aftermarket footbed, especially in a boot of this caliber.

Q: Can the stiffness easily be adjusted down to around 100-110 on these boots?
Asked : Jan 24, 2015
By : Evan, Newfoundland
Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Decreasing the flex that much would require a bootfitter to grind down the shell in strategic points to soften it down to a 110 or 100.
