The Stormrider 95 from Stockli is a powerful all mountain ski for skiers looking for stability, and quickness in a ski that can charge on trail or off. The Light Core keeps the weight of the ski incredibly low, but very powerful. That power comes from the (TRI Technology) that uses a Carbon Fiber insert that makes the Stormrider 95 very torsionally stiff and directionally stable for slicing through any type of snow condition as fast as possible. The Titec has a center channel of titanal that makes the ski extra powerful while keeping the weight down. The 95mm waist of this Stormrider will be happy anywhere from the deepest of powder to the hard pack along as you like power with every turn. The 3AX Construction uses fiberglass reinforced sidewalls to dampen out vibrations caused by firm snow conditions, crud, or just you moving at top speed to make another lap before the chairs close or your stash is tracked out. Stockli's Sandwich Sidewall Technology (SST) only increase the torsional strength, power and stability of the ski. If you are looking for the finest of Swiss Precision in a ski that goes pedal to the metal anywhere, the Stockli Stormrider 95 should be tops on your list.

A big ski - not for everyone
Comments:
I was looking for a long needed upgrade from my 2004 Salomon Scream 10 Hot. After trying all kinds of premium all mountain skis neither one convinced me entirely so ultimately I went with the premium (price) ski strongly recommended by my ski shop. I have skied this now in Quebec, the Rockies and all the way out West from ice to moguls to deep powder and am still amazed at the combination of stability, grip, float and, at a long radius, acceleration. At 6'3" and 230lbs I ski the 193cm and this ski, stiff and stable, will give me all the rebound I can handle. So, it is not for everyone but it is premium in any respect. There are days when tired legs would prefer a softer and more forgiving ski but then, when ski days are few, give it all you have!
