 Overview

The Stockli Axis Pro is a fantastic ride for strong intermediate to expert skiers looking for smooth and easy carves on piste. The Axis Pro is made with Stockli's Soft Rocker that uses a minimal amount of rocker in the tip for quicker turn initiation and efficient skiing that will allow you to use less energy than ever before. The Axis Pro has SST (Sandwich Sidewall Technology) that makes the ski torsionally strong and provides a fantastic grip on the snow. A Vertically Laminated Wood core will give you just enough power for you to push the speed limit and your comfort zone while not being too stiff that the ski is overly demanding causing you will fatigue before the lifts close. The 71mm waist is incredibly quick edge to edge and enjoys making short to medium radius turns quickly down the mountain. If you want a lightweight ski that has control and forgiveness, the Stockli Axis Pro will be perfect for you.

Amazing ski's !!
Comments:
OMG..this is an amazing ski. Great for carving all types of turns. Very fast and stable. Extremely predictable. They just wait for you to ask them what to do and then , they out-perform your expectations. I ski California and these are the best ski's I have been on. I think they would fit many skill levels as stated. I am advanced and they are perfect for me.

Q: I am 5'6" and 149 lbs. I usually ski a 165 but i ski in vermont now. Would the 170's work for me? I skied 177 last winter in vail. They were a bit long but I got used to them. I think a longer ski back east would be nice? Judy

Know the answer? Answer this question

A: Based on your weight, I would be more inclined to keep you more towards the 165cm, but if you are a strong skier, or more aggressive the 170cm would be appropriate for you. A longer ski will provide you with stronger edge hold as long as you have the mass or the technique to flex the ski.
