The Spyder Dare Athletic Long Pants have been part of the Spyder line for years simply because people love them and they perform. Whether it's keeping you warm, blocking the cold air, preventing moisture from seeping in or just giving you flexibility to enjoy a winter's day on the mountain, the Spyder Dare pants are an excellent choice.

You'll have Thinsulate Insulation to help keep the warmth close to the body so that you feel good and want to stay out on the slopes longer as opposed to heading in for a break. The Polyester Stretch fabrics ensure you can bend, twist and turn with ease so you can carve deep or pull off the latest trick in the park. With its fully taped seams and 20k waterproofing, the wintry elements will have a hard time getting through. But, at 20k breathability, your sweat and moisture on the inside won't stifle you down. If you are heating up on those warm spring ski days, open up the thigh vents and allow the fresh air to cool you down.

Put on your Spyder Dare Athletic Long Ski Pants, toss on your Spyder jacket and head to the mountain knowing that you are well-protected, feeling warm and looking good.

Super dry and warm ski pants, loads of features
I love these pants! I'm a tall guy (6'3") and was afraid I'd never be able to find ski pants that were long enough to keep the snow out of my boots. Most lower priced options just come in "regular" lengths, which are 2-3" too short for me.

Never fear, Spyder to the rescue! Both my son and I were able to order the Dare pant in long length (large for me, medium for him), which works great with our height.

The pants are completely waterproof - a full day skiing with about 50% of it rain here in the PNW, and I was still completely dry underneath. There are a ton of pockets too, which is awesome for carrying a wallet and other stuff. The built-in suspenders are excellent at keeping the pants from sliding down and avoiding the need to ever wear a belt. The vents along both legs are great - I ski with them open most of the time as I tend to overheat easily. I don't wear any layers underneath these pants but you certainly could if you run colder or ski in really cold conditions. So far the pants have been very comfortable for me in 30-45 degree weather.

I don't see why I would ever buy another brand -- with the matching Vyper jacket, I now have an awesome outfit that will keep me warm and dry in any type of weather.
